Presentation

EPPLN is a Company 50/50 owned by the groups DYNEFF and TOTAL RAFFINAGE MARKETING. Its storage capacity is 145,000 m3 on 8 hectares. The terminal operates about 1,100,000 tons of refined white products per year. They are distributed throughout the South of France and Andorra. It includes diesel, gasoline, domestic fuels and marine fuels. In addition, EPPLN handles fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and ethanol.

Future port: in the future deep-sea port, operations will not take place at the sea-line anymore. The EPPLN terminal will be connected to the 1st berth specialized in receiving liquid bulks and located against the North breakwater. This berth will be accessible to ships up to 14.50 m draft (60 to 80,000 t dwt). The new port will be able to offer up to 4 similar independent berths specially designed to accommodate large tankers.

Berths

A 1 sea-line dedicated to gas-oil reception. It consists of a mooring berth with a depth of 18 m. It includes a 10″ hose and a 2,500m 16- metre pipeline connected to shore. In the future port, the sea-line will be replaced by the P1 berth (2025).

A 1 berth (D2) for the reception of gasolines, ethanol and biofuels.

Admissible ship’s sizes

A Sealine = 192 m long x 31.30 beam x 11,90 m draft. Ships of maximum 30,000 t dwt and 40,000 t displacement.

A D2 = 145 m long x 22 m beam x 8 m summer draft maximum.

Products handled

A Refined petroleum products, gasoil, leadless gasoline, domestic fuels, ethanol, additives, biofuels. The range includes more than 90 different products in quality, dosage and incorporation of biofuels and additives.
